 Time:

1200 UTC Saturday to 1200 UTC Sunday

 Modes:

CW, SSB, RTTY or Mixed.

 Frequency Bands:

1.8 - 28 MHz, excluding WARC bands.

 Categories of participants:

  1. Single Op - All Bands (mixed mode only)
  2. Single Op - Single Bands (mixed mode only)
  3. QRP (output power 5 watts or less) - Single Op - All bands (mixed mode only)
  4. RTTY - Single Op - All Bands
  5. Multi Op - All Bands - Single TX (mixed mode only)
  6. SWL - All Bands (same as category A)

All participants regardless of category must remain on the band at least 10 minutes after changing bands, quick QSY to another bands is permitted only to work new multiplier. QSOs made during 10-minute rule on another band and which are not multipliers will be removed from the LOG without penalty.

The use of DX-cluster is permitted for all categories however self-spotting is strictly prohibited.

You can make up to 3 QSO with the same station on the same band - CW, SSB and RTTY. CW QSOs must be made in the CW portion of the band. Duplicate contacts with same station on the same mode / band counts 0 points. No penalty for duplicate QSO.

In the Single Band category you can make QSO on other bands. Single Band entrants who operate other bands during the contest are encouraged to submit full log for more than one band to aid in the log cross-checking process. They should send one Cabrillo file of full log and horoughly indicate correct category in the head of the file.

 Contest exchange:

For Ukrainian stations: RST(RS) + two letters (oblast abbreviation)

For all other participants: RST(RS) + serial number starting from 001.

It is permitted to use separate numeration for RTTY QSOs.

 QSO points:

  1. 1 point for QSO with own country
  2. 2 points for QSO with different country on the same continent
  3. 3 points for QSO with different continent
  4. 10 points for QSO with Ukraine (for participants outside of Ukraine only)

 Multipliers:

DXCC and WAE countries plus Ukrainian oblasts on every band.

* For stations in Ukraine multiplier is DXCC + WAE countries only (Ukraine counts as a country).

 Awards and plaques:

Top leaders in each category will be awarded by plaques or prizes. Please see the list of sponsors below.

Country leaders in categories A, B, C, D, E and F will receive awards. If the group will contain more than 11 participants, the 2nd place will be awarded too, if more than 21 - there will be award for 3rd place etc.

Categories A and B will contain 3 additional groups: Mixed, only CW and only SSB.

 LOGS:

CABRILLO is preferred format, however as an exception all text format LOGs generated by TR, CT, SD and other logging programs will be accepted. LOG must be viewable by simple text editor, for example, NOTEPAD. WINWORD, EXCEL, HTML and other "complicated" format won’t be accepted.

LOG should contain the following data:
Date and Time (UTC), Band (Freq), Mode, Number Sent, Call and Number received.

Your output file should be named by your callsign, i.e. DL7AAA.CBR, DL7AAA.LOG, DL7AAA.SUM (for summary sheet) etc...

Reception of every e-mail LOG will be confirmed. If there is a problem with your LOG you will be notified by Contest Committee.

All logs will be checked by special software for UBN (unique, bad, not in log) contacts. Unique calls will be removed from the LOG without penalty. For bad (B) and not-in-log (N) calls penalty of three equal QSO points will apply.

Participants may be disqualified for excessive bad or not-in-log calls as well as for breaking the rules of the contest.

The decision of Contest Committee is final.
