About Mobileer	English (USA)
The Mobileer group is for California Amateur Radio (Ham) operators to discuss family mobile radio caravan and camping trips. These range from a single day, to trips of many miles using motels, cabins, tents, or RVs. Related subjects are discussed such as public service events, trip destinations, camp equipment and RVs, WiFi, cell phones, FRS and GMRS. Most trip communications are on two meter FM simplex with HF SSB used for long distances. Trips by any Amateur Radio group may be discussed, but no official connection is claimed. Subscribers may post their own travel plans to invite other Hams and families, or to make radio schedules (skeds). Any interested Ham operator may apply to join this group to discuss anything related to this description. Subscribers in or near California are preferred for travel reasons, but others are welcome. This invitation is only with the understanding that any trips are taken as friends and equals and no responsibility or liability is assumed by anyone. MANDATORY WHEN SUBSCRIBING: Please enter your first name and call in "Your name" to expedite approval. If no call, give full name, city, and one or two words about interest in Ham radio, or call of relative (specify). Other requests may be deleted as potential SPAM. Using Mobileer
To post a message to all the list members, send email to [email protected]. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Mobileer
Subscribe to Mobileer by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
