Something better than nothing!

Hi,
We brought this set in club station on 11 nov 2002 for field activity from a local dealer in New Delhi. We found this set to very nicely packed and when we connected antenna and went on air we found VU land ready for QSO. With overall better selectivity and a improved layout this set is best if you are new on HF and wants to explore HF Freq.
So no bad exprience with the set.

Don't be fooled when you see this radio
it might not have the latest gizmos and it
might look a bit out of date.
But its performance is excellent rx is
first class its general coverage covers
0.1 to 54mhz continuosly
its better than my communications receiver
which cost many times more.
Tx audio is gd always get gd reports on air
lsb usb am fm cw u cw l 100 memories 100w
comes already supplied with cw and ssb filters so no added expense here in the uk
it is £499 new one of the cheapest on the market
it is an absolute bargain
I have seen nice examples secondhand
for £250-£300

I bought my DX70TH many years ago, and I've taken it everywhere. At the moment I use it for topband mobile, and it is brilliant. No complaints at all. I've dropped it, spilt coffee all over it, used it under freezing conditions as well as tropical temperatures . . . and it always works great. Always good TX adio reports. Listen for me on 1929 or 1933Khz most days. Probably the best rig on the market for the money. Can equally be used as a base station, portable or mobile. You would not be dissapointed. Buy one!
