this is a very nice radio for the new comer,as it is easy to use,and works the hf bands very nice it could be used mobile,but buy the sizes of radios to day it is big nice to use as a compact base,i use mine with the md-1 desk mic and get good reports from all over the would from only 10 watts
Pros: small and easy to drive
Cons: none that i can find
Time owned: Over two years - Price: 800.00 uk pounds in 1995,aprox 400 uk ponds used
