DX spots on demand

Online since early 2005, DXWatch is a new generation web cluster service specialized in dx spot alerting system, fully managed by Felipe PY1NB. Alerts can be customized by users, thanks to a filtering feature that allow the selection of band, mode and country prefix. This modern approach to online dx spots notification, allow you to be alerted in your mailbox, pager or even mobile device if your carrier allows it. The original web cluster service has been soon followed by other automated dx services:

  • spot search based on the callsign of the DX station
  • spot submissions are forwarded to the whole cluster network
  • 425DXNews bulletin archives
  • DX calendar (that shows data on the fly), with information from 425DXNews
  • K7RA propagation bulletin
  • propagation indices and graphs
  • callsign lookup (in collaboration with QRZ.com)
  • submitted contest scores database (fed by the 3830 reflector)

Graphic interface is very essential, as we should expect by an utility web site, a powerful and huge database and a skilled php programming are at the base of this customizable web cluster, done by a DX man, with hams in mind.
