 Basic amateur radio station

Aberdeen Amateur Radio Society was founded in 1946 and has brought together amateur radio enthusiasts from across the north-east of Scotland ever since. Meetings are held in Aberdeen on most Thursday evenings throughout the year and a warm welcome awaits any prospective new members who are interested in joining us.

Latest News

Next Meeting:   The next meeting is on May 9th at 7.30pm and is currently on the calendar as an Informal Meeting.  The CW practice session with Graham GM4OBD also takes place as usual from 7pm.  If you would like to join in, please bring a pair of stereo headphones with a 3.5mm plug.  Keep up-to-date with our latest events listings on the Events Programme page.

Mills On The Air Weekend:  This takes place on the 11th & 12th May.  As in previous years, the Club is planning to be operating from the Mill of Bellabeg, Strathdon (QRA IO87LE).

Exam Training:  Please note that there will be no training session held on Saturday 25th May 2024.
