Scandinavian Activity Contest, SSB

The Scandinavian Activity Contest (SAC) on SSB is a fantastic event designed to boost amateur radio activity within Scandinavia and foster communication between stations in the region and the rest of the world. We participate with the goal of contacting as many Scandinavian stations as possible if we're outside Scandinavia, or as many non-Scandinavian stations as possible if we're operating from within Scandinavia. We'll be making contacts and exchanging basic information with other operators on 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, and 10m. The contest runs for a full 24 hours, starting at 12:00 UTC on Saturday and concluding at 11:59 UTC on Sunday, typically on the second full weekend of October each year. For newcomers, we recommend focusing on a single band initially to get a feel for the flow. Always check the official rules for exact categories, exchange details, and scoring.
