The directory lists several files, including `_template1.html` and `_template2.html`, last modified in 2006 and 2004 respectively, indicating a historical web project. Key scripts like `hfcc_cfm.pl` and `index.cgi`, updated in 2011, suggest a **CGI-based application** for searching shortwave broadcast schedules. The presence of `_template1.tpl` and `_template2.tpl`, both modified in 2015, points to a templating system for dynamic content generation. The file `hfcc_create-fill_mys..>` (likely `hfcc_create-fill_mysql.pl`) implies interaction with a database, possibly MySQL, for storing and retrieving **HFCC (High Frequency Co-ordination Conference)** schedule data. The `lang.cgi` script, last updated in 2002, suggests early support for multilingual interfaces or language-specific content delivery. The `q.txt` file, a small 804-byte text file, could be a query log or a simple data file. The overall structure indicates a system designed to process and present shortwave broadcast information, likely by querying a database of scheduled transmissions on various HF frequencies. The file modification dates suggest the project was actively developed and maintained over a period spanning more than a decade, with core components last updated around 2011 and templates in 2015.

Effective operation of amateur radio repeaters, particularly in high-density areas, relies on coordinated frequency assignments to prevent interference. This resource from the _Illinois Repeater Association_ (IRA) serves as the official frequency coordination body for the state of Illinois, providing essential information for repeater owners and users. It details coordination policies, guidelines, and application forms for new and existing repeaters, ensuring fair and consistent spectrum utilization. The site also includes a comprehensive band plan, last revised in 2006, and a selective access policy (PL/Squelch Plan) updated in 2015, which are critical for maintaining orderly operations. The IRA website offers various repeater directories, sortable by frequency, city, and region, including a dedicated section for digital systems. These directories are invaluable for hams traveling through Illinois or setting up new repeater projects, helping them identify available frequencies and coordinated systems. The resource also provides meeting minutes, newsletters, and links to other regional repeater councils, demonstrating its role in fostering inter-state coordination. This structured approach to frequency management helps ensure reliable communications and minimizes QRM across the state, supporting thousands of repeater contacts annually.

Monitoring radio communications through web-accessible Software Defined Radios (SDRs) has become a popular facet of the hobby, and Receiverbook serves as a centralized directory for locating these remote assets. The platform aggregates listings for both **OpenWebRX+** and **KiwiSDR** installations, providing a gateway to a diverse array of frequencies and operating modes. My own experience with similar directories highlights their utility for casual listening, DXing, and even troubleshooting local RFI by comparing signals across different geographic locations. The directory details specific receiver locations, from Bedford, England, to Marahau, New Zealand, and Berlin, Germany. Each entry often specifies the supported frequency ranges, which can span LF, MF, HF, VHF, and UHF bands, including dedicated segments like 80m, 40m, 2m, and 70cm. Many listings explicitly note support for HAM radio, broadcast services, and public two-way radio, making it a versatile tool for various listening interests. Beyond general frequency coverage, some entries provide granular details about the underlying hardware, such as the **SDRPlay RSP1A** or RTL-SDR Blog V3, and even the antenna types employed, like the Sirio Gain-Master. This level of detail is invaluable for serious SWLs and hams looking to understand the capabilities and limitations of a particular remote receiver before tuning in.

This page show a list of repeaters in north america transmitting from 28 MHz to 29 MHz. The most of them are in the 29.620 to 29.700 frequency range. Some repeaters may be active and on the air while others may not

Over 200 distinct 2-meter band amateur radio repeaters are cataloged for Australia, providing essential operational data for VHF communication. Each entry specifies the repeater's output frequency, often including the input tone (e.g., **91.5 Hz** or **123.0 Hz** CTCSS) and the repeater's callsign (e.g., _VK2RSC_, _VK3RHF_). Locations are precisely noted, frequently referencing specific towns, mountains, or geographical features such as "Kinglake, Kangaroo Ground" or "Adaminaby, Mars Hill." The resource also indicates various digital modes and linking capabilities where applicable, such as "FMEchoLinkFusionWIRES-X" or "DMR," alongside standard FM operation. This detailed listing facilitates local and regional VHF communication, enabling hams to program their transceivers accurately for repeater access. The data is presented in a clear, tabular format, making it straightforward to identify repeaters by frequency and location.

The **CubeSat** standard, developed by California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) and Stanford University, facilitates frequent and affordable access to space for small satellites. This resource serves as a central hub for the CubeSat community, offering a comprehensive directory of active and past CubeSat projects, technical specifications, and educational materials. It details the standardized dimensions and mass constraints for these pico-satellites, which typically range from 1U (10x10x10 cm, 1.33 kg) to 12U configurations, enabling their deployment as secondary payloads on various launch vehicles. The site also provides insights into mission planning, component selection, and regulatory considerations for amateur radio satellite operations. Operators and developers can utilize the project directory to research existing CubeSat missions, understand their communication protocols, and identify potential collaboration opportunities. The platform's forum section allows for direct engagement with other enthusiasts and experts, fostering knowledge exchange on topics such as **AMSAT** frequency coordination, telemetry decoding, and ground station setup. This collaborative environment supports the development of new CubeSat projects, promoting innovation in amateur radio satellite communication and space exploration.
