    Amateur radio contesting, also known as radio sport, is a competition between ham radio stations, run by single or multi operator, where generally the goal is to make as many radio contacts as possible, following the specific contest rules, in order to reach the maximum score. Ham Radio Contests, can be local or international, taking part is free, and last from a few hours to some months, even if typically they last a week-end.
