Field Spotter: Portable Amateur Radio Spotting Tool

Field Spotter is a web-based spotting tool designed for portable amateur radio activities such as POTA, SOTA, and WWFF. It displays spots on an interactive map, allowing users to view activator details, park/summit codes, distance, and spot age. Older spots are visually faded, and multiple spots at one location can be expanded. The tool includes filters for program, mode, and band, and a display configuration for map settings, terminator (greyline), Maidenhead grid, CQ zones, ITU zones, and WAB/WAI grid. Users can set spot display duration, show QRT and pre-QSY spots, and choose from various map styles including OpenStreetMap, CartoDB, and ESRI options. Additional features include re-spotting, callsign input, and popup links to lookup services, program sites, SOTA, and WebSDRs with a 750Hz offset for CW. The website operates passively, collects no user data, and stores location or callsign information only on the user's device.
