The ARRL 10-Meter Contest is a global event held annually on the second full weekend of December, starting Saturday at 0000 UTC and concluding Sunday at 2359 UTC. We participate to make as many contacts as possible with stations worldwide on the 10-meter band, aiming to work different ARRL/RAC Sections, Mexican States, and DXCC countries. Participants engage in making contacts and exchanging basic information with other amateur radio operators solely on the 10m band, using only CW. It's a fantastic opportunity to experience the unique propagation characteristics of 10 meters. For newcomers, we recommend focusing on making consistent contacts and getting comfortable with the rhythm of the contest. Always consult the official rules for precise details on categories, exchange format, and scoring.
