The I.A.C. - Italian Activity Contest on 2m is designed to encourage activity and highlight the unique characteristics of the VHF bands, particularly during weekdays. Our main objective is to make as many contacts as possible with stations across Italy, aiming to activate different geographic areas. Participants engage in making contacts and exchanging basic information with other stations using CW and SSB. This contest serves as an excellent training ground for newcomers to contesting, with special recognition for active ARI sections that involve many members. We encourage everyone to participate and experience the excitement of VHF contesting. For first-time participants, we recommend focusing on making consistent contacts and getting comfortable with the contest flow.
