FOTA - Fairs on the Air

FOTA (Fair on the Air) connects amateur radio with community gatherings, encouraging activations at fairs and festivals. Participants can set up a station at an event, contact participating stations from other locations, or join club activities. The platform provides tools to find upcoming activations, record contacts, and share the hobby with the public.

Operators can engage in two primary ways: "hunting" by finding stations on the Spots page and making radio contacts, or "activating" by finding a fair, planning an activation, and logging contacts. The system tracks progress and issues certificates for Hunter, Activator, and Club awards based on published criteria.
