The Associazione Radioamatori Italiani (ARI) Bergamo section provides a local hub for amateur radio operators in the Lombardy region of Italy. This resource details upcoming events such as the annual _Panettonata di Natale_ and important administrative updates like the 2026 membership renewal process. It also highlights special operating activities, including a commemorative radio activation for the 101st anniversary of the Gleno Dam disaster, which involved operators from both the Bergamo and Vallecamonica ARI sections. The site serves as a central point for local hams to stay informed about club activities and operational opportunities. Members can find information regarding payment methods for annual dues and event schedules. The Gleno Dam activation, for instance, is a significant event, demonstrating the club's engagement in historical remembrance through amateur radio. Such activities foster community spirit and provide opportunities for members to participate in public service and special event operations, often generating **hundreds of QSOs** and promoting the hobby.

IZ5CML, Enrico Giannerini, obtained his amateur radio license in 1998, achieving DXCC contacts with all entities over 18 years of activity. His station, located in Empoli, Tuscany, Italy, focuses on HF and 50 MHz operations, primarily using SSB, CW, and some RTTY. He emphasizes direct radio communication, preferring "human modes" over digital modes like FT8/4, which he views as detaching the operator from the signal. Enrico's operating interests include DXing, IOTA activations, and major HF contests, where he has participated both individually and with teams like IQ5LV and IO5O. Notable activations include Sao Miguel and Flores (CU8, EU-089) in the Azores in 2005, and Antiparos and Paros (EU-067) in Greece in 2006 and 2014. He also contributes to the Hamradioweb forum, promoting good operating practices and publishing the monthly "Dxschedule" for upcoming DX and contest activities. The website includes a blog with articles on DX, ionospheric propagation, and antennas, reflecting his long-standing passion for radio, sparked by the 1980s film "La Tenda Rossa" and years as an SWL.

The IK7IMP personal page provides details on the _Ham Portal_ software, an Italian-language application designed for managing amateur radio websites, including an online logbook feature. The resource also mentions the development of a J-pole antenna project, indicating a focus on practical radio construction and design. Content on the site covers general amateur radio topics, with specific mentions of equipment from manufacturers like Yaesu, Icom, and Kenwood, alongside antenna brands such as KLM and Tonna. The page serves as a hub for Icilio Carlino's amateur radio activities, offering insights into his interests in DXing, contesting (CW), and general radio operation. It also includes information relevant to the local amateur radio community in Lecce and Salento, Italy, referencing the Associazione Italiana Radioamatori (ARI) and the IQ7AF project.

The World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC) is a unique on-site ham radio competition, typically held every four years, bringing together top operators globally. Unlike traditional contests where participants operate from their home QTH, WRTC competitors travel to a designated location and operate from identical stations under field conditions, ensuring a level playing field. Past events have taken place in diverse locations such as Seattle (1990), Slovenia (2000), Russia (2010), and Italy (2023), showcasing the international scope of this **radiosport** challenge. Because each WRTC event is organized by a dedicated, volunteer-driven committee, historical information and results often become dispersed across various online platforms. This resource serves as a centralized repository, diligently collecting and preserving data from all previous WRTC competitions. It provides a consistent point of reference for participants, enthusiasts, and researchers interested in the history and evolution of this premier **DX contesting** event. The WRTC Sanctioning Committee officially endorses this site, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.

The **Luis Trenker Award** is an amateur radio operating award established by the Amateur Radio Club Ladinia to honor the director and author Luis Trenker from Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. To qualify for the award, HF stations must achieve five confirmed QSOs with each of five specific Alpine countries: Italy (with specific prefixes like I1, IK1, I2, I3, IN3, IW3, IV3), France, Germany (with DOKs A, C, T, U), Switzerland or Liechtenstein, and Austria (with prefixes OE2, OE3, OE6, OE7, OE8, OE9). A single QSO with a member of the Amateur Radio Club Ladinia can substitute for the five required Italian QSOs, with members' QSL cards bearing a special rubber stamp. VHF/UHF stations have a simpler requirement, needing only one confirmed QSO with each of the five Alpine countries. SWL stations are eligible under the same conditions as transmitting stations. All contacts must be valid after April 12, 1990. Applicants must submit a list of contacts, certified by two OMs or a club, to the Amateur Radio Club Ladinia in Ortisei, South Tyrol, Italy. The award manager is IN3PGS Karlheinz, and the club official is IW3AQL Luca.
