MUlti mode digital signal decoder software capable or C4FM D-Star decoding, a guide to compile and install DSD

The KP3AV Systems website offers a detailed listing of amateur radio repeaters across Puerto Rico, including operational frequencies and tones for VHF and UHF bands. It features sections dedicated to digital modes like DMR and C4FM, as well as information on FRS, GMRS, and MURS. The resource also includes articles on emergency communications protocols and provides access to Spanish-language manuals for various radio equipment. Recent content covers the new open-source FT2 mode for WSJT-X Improved, upcoming 60-meter band frequency allocations and power restrictions effective February 13, 2026, and discussions on 2-meter contacts with Desecheo Island from Puerto Rico. The site also presents U.S. amateur radio band plans and highlights local contesters like Manuel WP4TZ, offering practical insights into portable operations and contest participation.

Accessing this interface provides entry to one of the largest databases for amateur radio voice repeaters, encompassing over 8000 entries from more than 60 countries. The resource supports both desktop and mobile access, with a default display based on browser type, or forced via a "force" parameter (e.g., relais.dl3el.de?force=mobile). Users input a QTH-locator to find local repeater information. The database integrates FM-Funknetz servers and hotspots, potentially creating duplicate entries but ensuring new FM-Funknetz repeaters are immediately displayed. DMR repeater information, including status and talkgroup configurations, is sourced directly from DMR+ / ircDDB and Brandmeister systems, with real-time updates for active and default talkgroups. C4FM/Wires-X installations, particularly MMDVM-based gateways not listed in Yaesu's database, are identified through Brandmeister dashboard descriptions, marked with "W-x" or "W-x#MMDVM" for manual entries. D-Star repeater data from ircddb or QuadNet2 is also incorporated, with entries marked (i), (o), or (d) for manual additions. An APRS interface allows searching by callsign, using Sassan, DL3NCK's database, and offers a mobile-friendly, auto-refreshing display that follows an APRS station. Output data can be generated in GPX format for offline smartphone maps or CSV for spreadsheet applications. The database also attempts to determine valid repeater offsets based on IARU region and frequency, indicated by a "." after the frequency.

715 days, 6 hours, 58 minutes, and 29 seconds of uptime are reported for the YSFReflector-Dashboard by DG9VH, which monitors the IT C4FM SUD / ITALY-SUD reflector. This dashboard, compiled on December 1, 2017, provides real-time operational statistics for the reflector, including system information, disk usage, and connected YSFGateways. The dashboard also features a "Last Heard List" and an "All Heard List," displaying callsigns, durations, and timestamps (Europe/Rome) of stations active on the reflector. These lists offer a quick overview of recent activity, which can be useful for tracking **C4FM** traffic. While the resource is titled "IZ7AUH-6 DX Web Cluster," the primary content displayed is a **YSFReflector** dashboard. This suggests the platform might serve a dual purpose, offering both traditional DX cluster services and monitoring for Yaesu System Fusion reflectors.

System Fusion is Yaesu’s implementation of Digital Amateur Radio, utilizing C4FM 4-level FSK Technology to transmit digital voice and data over the Amateur radio bands

System Fusion is a digital communications mode for voice and data, including pictures. It utilizes a customized, yet open, C4FM FDMA standard. An introduction to Yaesu System Fusion by Wireless Society of Southern Maine

RadioLog is a free amateur radio logbook software for Windows 10/11 (x64) that integrates QSO logging with real-time DX Cluster spots and _RigControl_ capabilities. It supports ADIF, eQSL, and LoTW for logging and export, along with specific modules for contest operation, including automatic scoring and _Cabrillo_/EDI export for HF and VHF contests. The software also features a dedicated portable mode for SOTA, POTA, WWFF, and CB/11m activations, offering a distinct logbook for these activities. The application includes an integrated _RTL-SDR_ auxiliary monitor for visual and audio support during operation, and offers three CAT connection methods: direct RadioLog control, Hamlib managed by RadioLog, or an external rigctld server. Recent updates, such as those in v4.0.2, focus on interface polish, consistent dark theme application, and layout bug fixes, including VFO frequency display with thousands separators. The software also provides reciprocal synchronization with QRZ.com Logbook, allowing both upload and download of QSOs, and supports various digital voice modes like DMR, C4FM, D-STAR, FreeDV, and M17.

For amateur radio operators seeking to engage in digital voice communications, DVNets provides a centralized, community-verified directory of active nets. It organizes net schedules by **digital mode**, day, region, and access details, covering systems such as DMR, BrandMeister, D-STAR, System Fusion (YSF/C4FM), AllStar, EchoLink, M17, P25, NXDN, Wires-X, IRLP, and FreeDV. The platform offers specific connection information including talkgroups, reflectors, and rooms to facilitate participation in these digital voice activities. DVNets currently lists 374 active nets across 10 digital modes and 11 countries, with 70 community verifications ensuring accuracy. Users can browse nets by specific digital voice mode, view a weekly schedule, or explore listings by region, including the United States (142 nets), Canada (38 nets), and the United Kingdom (27 nets). The directory also features a "Happening soon" section, displaying nets active or starting shortly in the user's local timezone.

Demonstrates the construction of a portable 2-meter repeater system utilizing a **Yaesu DR-1X** transceiver, configured for both analog FM and C4FM digital voice operation. The design emphasizes portability, robustness, and effective thermal management, incorporating a "wind tunnel" airflow system with a fan to maintain transmit module temperatures at 38 degrees Celsius during continuous operation. The system integrates a diplexer, control head, and is housed in a compact, lightweight case weighing under 8kg, designed for single-person deployment. Covers practical considerations for field deployment, including power sources, antenna types, and the overall system architecture for public service events and emergency preparedness. The resource details the modular "wrap around" construction, showing how components like thermal switches for fan control and Anderson Powerpole connectors are integrated. It highlights the system's ability to provide reliable communications support for club activities and emergency communications.

The Llanelli Amateur Radio Society (LARS) website details the club's offerings for both licensed operators and those new to amateur radio, including shortwave listeners and individuals pursuing Foundation, Intermediate, or Full licenses. It highlights opportunities to learn radio techniques, explore digital modes such as C4FM, D-Star, DMR, and FreeDV, and participate in contests and social events. The club aims to foster a supportive environment for experimentation and knowledge sharing among its members. Member testimonials illustrate practical applications, such as a new licensee making a 1000km contact via a repeater after being inspired by space exploration, and another quickly passing the RSGB Foundation exam. The site also features accounts of members progressing to Intermediate and Full licenses, with one Full license holder continuing to learn new modes like CW and digital, and engaging in activities like Parks on the Air (POTA).
