SatDump: Satellite Data Processing Software for SDRs
Description
SatDump is a general-purpose software for receiving and processing live data from geostationary and polar satellites, as well as space probes. It provides all stages from satellite transmission to product generation. The software is free and compatible with Linux, MacOS, Windows, and Android. It supports various SDR devices including RTL-SDR, Airspy, HackRF, BladeRF, LimeSDR, and PlutoSDR, allowing one SDR to work for multiple downlinks. SatDump enables ham radio operators to receive Meteor-M, GOES-R, Metop, and other satellites. It supports recording radio basebands, decoding and processing data from over 90 satellites and probes, and live decoding of APT, LRPT, HRPT, LRIT, and HRIT links. The software decodes images and data from satellites such as NOAA 15-18-19, Meteor-M, GOES, Elektro-L, Metop, and FengYun. It can output calibrated and georeferenced L1b products, including Sea Surface Temperature and Microphysics, suitable for scientific applications.
