Aziloop DF-72 Antenna System for VLF to HF Reception
Description
The Aziloop DF-72 is a dual-mode, multi-directional antenna system designed for VLF to HF reception. It features a low visual impact, small footprint antenna with orthogonal loops and an earth connection. The system offers electronic rotation and control via a Windows UI, supporting Local, Client, or Server modes. Users can switch between Loop mode and K9AY mode, accessing 72 K9AY headings and 36 loop axes. It includes a switchable 18 dB preamp, a 4-step attenuator (0-18 dB), and four 7-pole preselection filters. The K9AY load is variable from 250 Ohm to 950 Ohm in 50 Ohm steps. Two control/monitor ports are available, with PTT muting support. Headless remote control is possible via the built-in Ethernet Server, and Omni-Rig support provides auto-filter, PTT muting, and Rig-Sync. The system is suitable for shortwave listeners, radio amateurs, and professional users for general monitoring, co-channel station resolution, direction finding, and interference reduction.
