The W5GI Mystery Antenna is a multi-band wire antenna that covers 80 to 6 meters with low feed point impedance. It is easy and inexpensive to build, similar to a G5RV but performs better on 20 meters. The antenna is difficult to model but has received positive feedback from users worldwide. It is ideal for hams without towers, requiring only two vertical supports about 130 feet apart. The antenna consists of three half waves in-phase on 20 meters with a half-wave 20 meter line transformer, offering a six-lobe pattern, gain broadside to the antenna, and low feed point impedance for easy matching.

Sharing beverage antennas with this switch boxes is possible. This article describes a 6-position remote antenna switch for Beverage antennas on 3 bands (160m, 80m, 40m). It allows selecting one of 6 antennas for each band without affecting other receivers. The system uses a control box with a rotary switch and a separate splitting box with bandpass filters for each band.

This low power transmitter is developed for ARDF exercising purposes but of course can be used as super QRP transmitter either. With 1 or 2 meter wire as antenna and a ARDF receiver with ferrite-rod antenna the range is about 100m but with better antennas and a 'real' receiver the range is probably much larger.
