Cloudlog is a web-based amateur radio logging application built with PHP and MySQL, supporting station logging activities from HF to microwave. It integrates with companion tools for CAT control and automation, offering a flexible solution for managing QSO data. The application provides a self-hosted platform for amateur radio operators to maintain their logbooks, facilitating interaction with various ham radio operations. Its open-source nature allows for community contributions and customization, enhancing its utility for diverse operating preferences. Originally started by Peter, **2E0SQL**, Cloudlog was designed to enable simple interaction with the Ham Radio Deluxe logbook using MySQL.

DXChrono Desktop presents a comprehensive suite of real-time amateur radio data, including NOAA solar indices, HF band conditions, and a worldwide _F5LEN tropo_ overlay for VHF openings. It integrates live spots from Telnet DX Cluster, PSK Reporter, and Reverse Beacon Network, displaying them on a dynamic 3D globe or 2D flat map. Additional features include aurora and MUF layers, QTH display with optional cities and grid/CQ/ITU layers, and dedicated support for SOTA and POTA activations. The software also offers a Watch List for callsign alerts and Sun/Moon Az/El widgets for satellite and EME operations. The application provides extensive contest and logging context through integration with _N1MM Logger+_ UDP, Cloudlog API, QRZ Logbook, and ADIF file support, allowing recent QSOs to be mapped directly. A Special Event mode is available for club stations, enhancing field day operations. DXChrono Desktop runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Raspberry Pi 4/5, requiring a 64-bit OS and at least 4 GB RAM for optimal performance, distinguishing it from simpler HamClock-style appliances.

Wavelog, a web-based amateur radio logbook application, launched in February 2024, represents a significant fork from the established Cloudlog platform, developed by a core team including DF2ET and DJ7NT. This open-source project focuses on delivering advancements in both stability and functionality, specifically tailored for the amateur radio community. The application allows users to manage their radio logs from diverse environments, including professional servers, standard web hosting, or even compact _Raspberry Pi_ setups. The platform distinguishes itself through its emphasis on simplicity, robust features, and versatile accessibility, enabling operators to log contacts from virtually any location. It supports various operating modes and data formats, providing a flexible solution for tracking QSOs and managing station activities. The project's development is driven by the collaborative spirit of the amateur radio community, prioritizing utility and user experience over commercial objectives. Key features include comprehensive logging capabilities, support for multiple bands and modes, and integration with common amateur radio data standards, ensuring broad utility for DXers and contesters.

The Greencube Terminal Program enhances communication with the Greencube/IO-117 satellite by enabling message exchange via a PC's soundcard and integrating with multiple loggers like ACLog and Cloudlog. It supports new contact identification through an ADIF file, featuring a color-coded "Dupelist" for tracking unconfirmed contacts and grids. The software is compatible with voice notifications for efficient satellite communication management.

Open Signal, a software application for Windows 10/11 and 64-bit Linux, facilitates the transmission of color pictures, photo files, and text over HF and VHF amateur radio bands. It integrates its own error-corrected OFDM digital picture mode, delivering pixel-exact images in under a minute, with classic analog SSTV across six families: Martin, Scottie, Robot, Wraase, PD, and MMSSTV's MP/MR, featuring automatic VIS mode detection on receive. The application offers four distinct sending methods, including byte-exact JPEG transfer, a hybrid mode utilizing internet for full quality with a short RF link, and its proprietary digital waveform. This self-contained executable eliminates the need for external software like FLDIGI, Hamlib, or virtual audio cables, simplifying setup. It includes a self-filling logbook that integrates with Wavelog/Cloudlog, eQSL, and provides UDP ADIF broadcast. Built-in spotting features include PSK Reporter, DX cluster announcements, and APRS-IS position beacons. The receive-only version is permanently free, while a full license, enabling transmit capabilities and access to the live network, is available for an annual or lifetime fee. The software is actively maintained, unlike EasyPal, which has not seen updates since 2014.

Cloudlog Helper addresses the need for streamlined, automated logging of amateur radio contacts, particularly for operators utilizing digital modes like FT8 or those with limited system resources. This utility syncs real-time rig data and QSO information to various logging platforms, including _Cloudlog_ and Wavelog, supporting mainstream transceivers. It integrates seamlessly with popular digital mode software such as JTDX and WSJT-X, ensuring that contact details are captured and uploaded without manual intervention. Operators can compile the software themselves and configure essential settings, including their Maidenhead locator, Cloudlog server address, API key, and station ID. The application's design prioritizes efficiency and portability, making it a practical solution for hams who prefer automated logging processes. While an unofficial community project, Cloudlog Helper provides a robust framework for automating the often-tedious task of logging, supporting multiple logging services beyond its primary integration. It offers a direct method for hams to maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks with minimal effort, potentially improving their DXCC or other award tracking by ensuring no QSO is missed.
