Presents a dynamic, searchable database of shortwave broadcast schedules from around the world, enabling users to locate active stations or plan listening sessions based on scheduled transmission periods and frequencies. The resource details specific station names, such as _Radio Habana Cuba_, _Deutsche Welle_, and _All India Radio_, alongside their operational times and assigned kilohertz frequencies. It also incorporates a distance calculator, which leverages geographical coordinates to estimate propagation paths, though it notes occasional data inaccuracies leading to transmitters appearing in oceanic locations. The platform's development log highlights continuous updates, including the integration of new seasonal schedules like "A24 frequencies" and "B23 schedule," reflecting the fluid nature of shortwave broadcasting. It documents challenges with geolocation services, particularly concerning Google API changes that impacted distance calculations and required user-side browser configuration adjustments for optimal functionality. The site owner, VAXXi, frequently communicates these technical adjustments and database updates, often acknowledging user contributions and donations. Distinctively, the resource provides a historical perspective through its update archives, illustrating the evolution of shortwave listening over more than a decade since its inception in 2011. It also mentions specific events, such as the BBC adding shortwave broadcasts for Ukraine on 5875 kHz and 15735 kHz, demonstrating its responsiveness to global events impacting broadcast schedules. The site's commitment to user feedback is evident in its bug reporting and feature request mechanisms, contributing to its ongoing refinement.

Amateur radio repeaters extend communication range for mobile and remote stations by retransmitting signals on a different frequency, often for emergency communications. The resource details various repeater bands, noting that 2 meters and 70 cm are primary for activity, with 10-meter repeaters offering potential national and overseas coverage. It specifies **18 channels** on 6 meters and **31 channels** on 2 meters, along with a new 70 cm offset of _7 MHz_ adopted in 2015. The content explains how repeaters can be linked via dedicated transmitters/receivers, landlines, or Internet VoIP systems like _IRLP_ and Echolink, enabling global connections. It also describes simplex gateways for multi-band operation and the use of CTCSS subaudible tones for access control and interference mitigation. The document highlights specialized repeaters for modes beyond voice, such as SSTV and ATV, particularly on 70cm and higher bands. Operational guidelines for efficient and courteous repeater use are referenced, along with links to Australian repeater listings and band plans.

Over 1900 ARISS school events have been conducted since 2000, facilitating amateur radio contacts between students and ISS crew members. This resource details the Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) program, outlining scheduled contacts, operational procedures, and application processes for educational institutions worldwide. It lists specific upcoming contacts, such as those with Lewis Center for Educational Research in California and Vauban, Ecole et Lycée français de Luxembourg, typically operating on a 145.800 MHz downlink frequency. The content also provides crucial guidelines for radio amateurs, emphasizing the importance of not interfering with scheduled school contacts and utilizing the crossband repeater for general QSOs when available. It clarifies crew availability for casual contacts, noting that astronauts are usually free during personal time, approximately one hour after waking and one hour before sleeping, and often on weekends. Constraints on scheduling, such as avoiding EVA weeks and specific crew rest periods, are also detailed. Furthermore, the resource includes historical statistics on direct versus telebridge contacts, QSL information, and links to related ARISS, AMSAT, ARRL, and NASA websites. It also provides information on applying to host an ARISS contact for schools and youth organizations in various regions, including the United States, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Canada, Central and South America, Asia, and Australia.

The P4 Aruba Callbook, last updated in 2010, serves as a directory for amateur radio operators active from the Caribbean island of Aruba. It meticulously categorizes P4 callsigns into several types: **P41-** for special resident calls valid for one month, **P43-** for permanent resident calls renewable annually, **P49-** for permanent visitor calls also renewable annually, and **P40-** for temporary visitor calls valid for one month, often used in contests. The resource notes that obtaining a permanent visitor callsign requires passing a local examination. The callbook lists numerous specific callsigns, including their QSL routes, operator names, and sometimes addresses or activation dates. For instance, P41A routes via P43A, and P40HQ was used by P43ARC via I2MQP for IARU contests. The entries include both active and Silent Key (SK) operators, with dates of passing where known, such as P43ADA (SK, Sep 2014) and P43JB (SK Jan 2012). This detailed listing assists DXers and contesters in verifying contacts and ensuring proper QSLing for Aruba operations.
