DX-Summit, is one of the very first **DX Clusters** on the internet, operated by the OH9W OH2AQ Radio Club, offering today a full featured web-based DX cluster, with real-time and even historical DX spots across basically the whole spectrum of amateur radio bands. This web application aggregates **DX spots**, enabling hams to monitor DX activity on frequencies from 1.8 MHz through 47 GHz, including specialized categories like beacons, digital modes, IOTA, QRP, and satellite operations. As all DX Clusters, it is as a critical tool for DXers and contesters seeking current propagation conditions and DX stations activity. The web application utility extends to providing daily DX news (even if not up to date) and a spot search function, allowing hams to research previous activity of a specific call signs on several bands. Features integration with direct link to **VOACAP** predictions, QRZ.com and ClubLog. Access to the service during contest events, expecially the most popular ones, may make the sevice overloaded. The inclusion of a full featured tutorial enhances its value. DX Summit's long-standing operation, maintained by **OH8X**, underscores its reliability as a go-to resource for seeking amateur radio spots and identifying rare DX or unidentified signals.

Over 16.7 million callsigns are indexed within the HamCall World-Wide Callsign Database, a long-standing resource for amateur radio operators. The resource details the construction and performance of a dual-band 40/30 meter _Moxon_ antenna, evolving from an initial single-band 30-meter design that failed in a storm. It specifies materials such as four 10-meter fishing rods, galvanized iron TV antenna support pipes, 1mm diameter PVC-covered copper wire, and a piece of 75-ohm TV satellite cable for feedline. The document outlines the iterative design process, including initial resonance measurements of 9.9 MHz for 30 meters and subsequent recalculations to shift the center frequency by 300 kHz using _Moxon software_. Initial testing on a roof yielded SWR readings of 1.4:1 at 7.200 MHz and 1.5:1 at 10.280 MHz. After installation atop a 30-meter tower, the final SWR measurements were 1.1 at 7.130 MHz and 1.4 at 10.230 MHz, with a notable 30 dB front-to-back ratio on 40 meters. The 30-meter performance, while good, showed a front-to-back ratio of approximately 15 dB, suggesting a slightly high resonance. The antenna's placement on a 700-meter hill, with a significant ground drop in certain directions, is noted as a potential factor in its excellent DX performance, enabling daily contacts with the USA West Coast on 30 and 40 meters with 100 watts.

Operating a specialized DX cluster, this service provides real-time DX spots exclusively from stations confirmed to be _Log of The World_ (LoTW) users. This unique filtering mechanism allows DXers to prioritize contacts with stations that are highly likely to upload their logs to LoTW, streamlining the process of achieving confirmed DXCC or other awards. The cluster aggregates data from various sources, presenting a focused view of active LoTW participants across multiple bands. By narrowing the scope to LoTW-active stations, the platform significantly reduces the effort required for QSL management, as users can confidently pursue contacts knowing a digital confirmation is probable. This targeted approach is particularly beneficial for contesters and DXpedition chasers aiming for rapid award qualification, offering a strategic advantage in identifying viable contacts. The service supports both web-based access and traditional telnet connections, ensuring broad compatibility for amateur radio operators. It processes thousands of spots daily, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely information relevant to LoTW users, facilitating more efficient and productive operating sessions.

The **United States Islands (USI) Awards Program** is an amateur radio operating activity centered on activating and chasing islands located within the fifty states of the United States, its territories, and protectorates. These islands encompass coastal shores, lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams, offering a diverse range of operating environments. The program provides numerous achievement awards for both island activators and island chasers, encouraging portable operations and mini-DXpeditions. Participants engage in year-round activities, including the **One-Day-Getaway (1DG)**, a casual portable operation held on the second Saturday of May, and the U.S. Islands QSO Party (IQP), a 15-hour contest occurring on the last full weekend of August. USI encourages hams to discover and operate from islands in their local areas, providing an alternative to traditional Field Day operations for outdoor radio enjoyment. The program supports various operating styles, including portable, walk-on, paddle-to, motor-to, mobile, and drive-on activations. Recent activities include AC1RH activating MA064R Eagle Island daily, aiming for over 100 activations using 600 watts, and KD9ZAB and KD5YZY qualifying MO021R Tower Rock, which is also a POTA US-10147 location. The USI program maintains a clear distinction from the Islands On The Air (IOTA) awards program.

Operating from Banana Island, Sierra Leone (AF-037), the 9L2019 DXpedition by F6KOP and a ten-operator team used the callsign 9LY1JM from January 9-21, 2019. This detailed report covers the logistical challenges, including securing visas and licenses with local assistance from Mark 9L1YXJ and Gregory of Dalton’s Guest House. The team deployed monoband quarter-wave verticals on the beach and two Beverage on Ground (BOG) antennas for Europe/Asia and the USA, operating four stations simultaneously. Technical hurdles encountered included high tides submerging antennas, requiring repositioning, and persistent QRM between closely spaced stations, mitigated by doubling filters. CW signal irregularities at 30-32 WPM were resolved by PC and WINTEST restarts. A significant FT8 logging bug was identified and corrected with on-site software. Despite these issues, the team logged over 4,000 QSOs in the first 24 hours, averaging 5,000 QSOs daily, with a peak of over 6,000 in one day. Propagation varied, with excellent 160m conditions on January 12 yielding over 750 QSOs, and a later four-hour opening pushing the 160m total past 1,600. High bands were challenging due to low solar activity, but mid-bands provided intense pileups and rapid continent-wide contacts. The DXpedition concluded with nearly 50,000 QSOs, including a successful school QSO with Collège Doisneau de Sarralbe (57), managed by F1ULQ and F6KFT.
