A 10-20 meters coverage delta loop antenna. After relocating, DL2HCB designed a multiband loop antenna to cover 10-20m with an open-wire feed for impedance matching and compact installation. Inspired by the mini-X-Q design, a modified 10m delta-loop was built, enhanced with a 1/4 wave shorted stub for 28 MHz using 450-ohm ladder line. The antenna delivers east-west broadside radiation and performs as a closed loop on other bands. Operational tests yielded strong European signals and successful DX contacts, including a 20m QRP QSO with FY/DJ0PJ.

Operating on the HF bands, Kenwood's TS-990S and TS-890S transceivers represent their flagship offerings, providing advanced features for DXing and contesting. My personal experience with Kenwood gear, particularly the TS-590SG, confirms their reputation for solid receive performance and clean transmit audio, often noted in pileups. The TS-590SG, a popular choice for many hams, delivers reliable performance across the HF and 6-meter bands, making it a versatile station centerpiece. For VHF/UHF enthusiasts, the TH-D75A tribander offers 144, 220, and 430 MHz capabilities in a portable form factor. This handheld unit integrates D-STAR and APRS functionalities, appealing to operators who value digital modes and location-based services on the go. The inclusion of 220 MHz, a less common but valuable band, expands its utility for regional communications and specialized nets. Kenwood's enduring presence in the amateur radio market, dating back to 1955, underscores a commitment to quality and innovation. Their product range, from high-end base stations to feature-rich portables, continues to support a wide array of operating styles and technical requirements within the ham community.

The _Astron RS35m Power Supply Schematic_ provides a detailed circuit diagram for this popular linear power supply, focusing on the rectifier and pass transistor stages. It presents the AC input and DC output sections, illustrating the component layout and interconnections critical for understanding its operation. The schematic is enhanced with specific annotations derived from the December 2005 QST "Hands-On Radio, Experiment #35 Power Supply Analysis." These notes offer insights into the circuit's functionality and potential analysis points, making the diagram more instructive than a bare schematic. The resource serves as a practical reference for hams interested in the internal workings or maintenance of the _Astron RS35m_ unit. This document specifically highlights the key components responsible for voltage regulation and current delivery.

Arrl document about invisible antennas and indoor systems. It is important to consider that few compromise antennas are capable of delivering the performance one can expect from the full-size variety. But the patient and skillful operator can often do as well as some fellows who are equipped with high power and full-size antennas. The "cliff-dweller" may not be able to "bore a hole" in the band as often, and as easily, but DX can be worked successfully when band conditions are suitable.

The directory lists several files, including `_template1.html` and `_template2.html`, last modified in 2006 and 2004 respectively, indicating a historical web project. Key scripts like `hfcc_cfm.pl` and `index.cgi`, updated in 2011, suggest a **CGI-based application** for searching shortwave broadcast schedules. The presence of `_template1.tpl` and `_template2.tpl`, both modified in 2015, points to a templating system for dynamic content generation. The file `hfcc_create-fill_mys..>` (likely `hfcc_create-fill_mysql.pl`) implies interaction with a database, possibly MySQL, for storing and retrieving **HFCC (High Frequency Co-ordination Conference)** schedule data. The `lang.cgi` script, last updated in 2002, suggests early support for multilingual interfaces or language-specific content delivery. The `q.txt` file, a small 804-byte text file, could be a query log or a simple data file. The overall structure indicates a system designed to process and present shortwave broadcast information, likely by querying a database of scheduled transmissions on various HF frequencies. The file modification dates suggest the project was actively developed and maintained over a period spanning more than a decade, with core components last updated around 2011 and templates in 2015.

Demonstrates an online **CW** audio decoder tool, currently under active development, designed for analyzing and decoding Morse code. Users can upload audio files containing Morse code or record live audio input via a microphone, with processing handled entirely in JavaScript using the Web Audio API. The software analyzes the audio, attempting to determine the pitch and speed, and then decodes the message, providing options to compare the decoded output against a predefined message or a perfectly timed version. The interface allows for setting optional comparison messages, character speed in WPM, and Farnsworth speed. It also features interactive charts for visualizing the audio analysis, where users can zoom with the mouse wheel and pan by dragging. Specific buttons highlight different element types such as intra-character space, inter-character space, extra elements, missing elements, and replaced elements, aiding in detailed signal analysis. Built-in test files are available for immediate analysis, allowing users to quickly evaluate the decoder's performance. The tool is noted to work with specific browsers and is presented as a testing platform for user feedback, indicating ongoing refinement of its decoding algorithms and user interface.
