QScope.org is an advanced statistics online application with innovative features for HAM Radio operators logs. While designed with amateur radio contesters score improvements in mind, it can help any HAM to have a better visibility over its logbook. You can import ADIF or Cabrillo logs and have various statistics like QSOs per band, mode, operator; QSOs Rate; Operating Time...

A simple 2-tone-generator for testing the linearity of SSB transmitters. This device is as simple as useful. With 2 transistors and an oscilloscope, it is fairly easy to test the linearity of your SSB transmitter. The 2-tone-method is a standardized test method that can be used to determine the maximum output and the amplification characteristics of a sideband transmitter.

open890 is a web-based UI for the Kenwood TS-890S amateur radio, and features good usability, clean design, and high-speed bandscope/audio scope displays, among other features not available either on the radio itself, or in the ARCP remote control software. It is currently only designed to interface with the TS-890 via a LAN (or wifi) connection, and not a USB/serial connection. It may work with the TS-990, as the command set is very similar, but is currently untested.

An FT-817 ceased transmission on the VHF 2m band, despite the other HF, UHF, and 50 MHz bands operating correctly. Suspecting an excess of input signal during FT-8 mode transmission, they conducted measurements with an oscilloscope, revealing a burnt-out PIN diode, identified as D3003, type HSU277, on the PA unit board. Following the replacement of this surface-mounted diode, their FT-817 resumed operation on the 144 MHz band.
