The page provides a tool to create a customized Ham Radio Az Map on the fly, with various dimensions available. It is a valuable resource for amateur radio operators to visualize and optimize pointing of directional antennas. The content includes maps for different regions, prefix maps, and world maps.

Demonstrates adapting the _Moxon rectangle_ antenna design for 2-meter VHF operation, highlighting its unique characteristics for specific applications. It details how the antenna's small size and distinctive far-field pattern, typically associated with HF, can be effectively utilized on VHF. The resource provides modeled dimensions for three different element diameters (1/4", 1/2", 1") and discusses the necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance, such as gap spacing and element lengths, to achieve a 50-Ohm feedpoint impedance. The article presents predicted performance data, including gain (dBi), front-to-back ratio (dB), and feedpoint impedance (R, jX) across 144, 146, and 148 MHz. It analyzes free-space azimuth patterns and discusses the antenna's behavior when horizontally and vertically polarized over ground, including its suitability for fixed installations, repeater applications, and even satellite communications. Construction considerations, such as bending elements and maintaining critical gap distances, are also addressed. Furthermore, the content explores advanced configurations like using two back-to-back rectangles for broader coverage and a crossed-Moxon setup for circular polarization, suggesting potential for urban communication and satellite work. The author, _L. B. Cebik, W4RNL_, emphasizes the Moxon's strengths in broad bandwidth, wide beamwidth, and high front-to-back ratio, rather than maximum gain.

NS6T's Azimuthal Map generator provides a web form for creating custom azimuthal projections centered on a user-specified QTH. Users can input their location using latitude/longitude coordinates, a Maidenhead grid square (e.g., IO91um), or a city name, with support for both US and international locations. The system processes these inputs to render a map displaying true bearings from the specified origin. Output customization includes options for distance, with a recommendation for 17500 kilometers and 8.5" x 11" paper size for integration with PSTRotator software. The generated PDF can be zoomed and clipped for use as a .jpg file in PSTRotator/Maps directories. The tool also offers an experimental color azimuthal map variant. City data for non-US locations is sourced from The World Gazetteer. The resource encourages user feedback and problem reports via comments on the associated blog, aiming for continuous improvement of the mapping utility.

Demonstrates the design and construction of a 9-element Yagi antenna for the **70 cm band** (432 MHz), based on the DK7ZB concept. The resource details EZNEC+ calculations for a single antenna, providing gain, sidelobe suppression, and front-to-back ratio figures. It also presents a comprehensive analysis of stacking two such antennas, including optimal stacking distance (1000 mm) and the resulting performance enhancements for the stacked array, such as an increased gain of 17.03 dBi. The article includes detailed drawings, wire file dimensions in millimeters, and azimuth/elevation plots for both single and stacked configurations. Practical construction steps are documented with original photographs, illustrating element mounting, the **28 Ohm matching system** using two quarter-wave 75 Ohm transmission lines, and the critical N-connector wiring. It also covers the iterative process of fine-tuning the driven element length to achieve a return loss of 20 dB, validating the EZNEC+ simulation results with actual measurements.

AZIWORLD is a user-friendly tool for generating azimuthal maps of the Earth centered on any location. Compatible with Windows XP and later, it supports English and French. Maps can be saved in .bmp format for easy customization. AZIWORLD computes azimuths, distances, and geographical positions, integrating seamlessly with AZIPOINT for automatic antenna pointing. Linux/Ubuntu/Android users can run AZIWORLD via WINE or CROSSOVER. For optimal functionality, installing AZIPOINT alongside AZIWORLD is recommended.

Demonstrates a cloud-based suite of tools for amateur radio operations, eliminating local software installation. The platform integrates a comprehensive logbook with import/export functionality, an _eMap_ application displaying DX spots, user locations, and grayline data, alongside a dynamic band map derived from DX cluster information. It also provides a _vQSL_ system for QSL management and a mailbox with QSO verification. Users can access a Web DX cluster to monitor spots and _DXCC_ status, or connect via Telnet using external programs like _Logger32_ or Ham Radio Deluxe. The cluster supports advanced spot filtering by QRG, spot call, spot from, and origin, with configurable mail alerts based on IARU zone filters. Additional features include a real-time chat for skeds, azimuth/distance calculations from a user's QTH (with QRA locator), a search engine for spot and logbook databases, a band status matrix, and a propagation tool for MUF calculations, leveraging data from N0NBH.
