Icom Announce ID-50 Compact Digital Dual Bander

Icom has announced details of the ID-50E, a new dual-band D-STAR digital transceiver to complement Icom’s popular ID-52E model, providing even more choice for customers when it comes to D-STAR digital communications.

The ID-50E is a compact VHF/UHF dual bander with both D-STAR (Digital Smart Technology for Amateur Radio) and FM dual modes and looks very much like the popular ID-51E/PLUS.

You need an Internet connection with an IPv4 Global IP address. If you use a cellular system, you need an IPv4 Global IP address assigned to your Android™ device. The RS-MS3W optional software is required to be installed on your PC (Download from Icom website). The RS-MS3A optional application software is required to be installed on Android™ devices (Download on Google Play™)
