DX Summit, operated by the OH9W OH2AQ Radio Club, functions as a full-featured web-based DX cluster, aggregating real-time and historical DX spots across the amateur radio spectrum from 1.8 MHz through 47 GHz. This utility includes specialized categories such as beacons, digital modes, IOTA, QRP, and satellite operations, making it a critical tool for monitoring current propagation conditions and identifying active DX stations. The platform also offers a spot search function to research past activity of specific call signs and integrates direct links to VOACAP predictions, QRZ.com, and ClubLog. Maintained by OH8X, DX Summit's long operational history underscores its reliability for DXers and contesters seeking current amateur radio spots. While it provides daily DX news, the content may not always be up-to-date, and access can be overloaded during major contest events. A comprehensive tutorial is available to guide users through its features, enhancing its practical application for identifying rare DX or unidentified signals.

PropView is a free application that uses the included VOACAP, ICEPAC, and IONCAP engines to graphically display band openings between two locations over a specified 24 hour period. It can also build schedules for the IARU/HF beacon network and automatically QSY your transceiver to monitor each scheduled beacon.

DXMaps.com presents a dynamic, real-time mapping service for amateur radio DX spots, integrating data from traditional DX clusters, _PSK Reporter_, and WSPR networks. The platform visually plots global QSO and SWL activity, enabling users to observe propagation conditions across various bands, from 2200m to >450 MHz. It offers distinct overlays such as the magnetic equator, gray line, moon footprint for EME, and VOACAP propagation predictions, providing a comprehensive view of radio wave behavior. The service allows granular filtering of displayed spots, including options to show only DX-Cluster data, PSK Reporter activity, or WSPR signals. Users can refine the map view by selecting specific bands (e.g., 160m, 20m, 6m, 2m), limiting spots to the last 15 minutes, or displaying only contacts exceeding **2600 km**. Additional features include the ability to toggle grid squares, aurora forecasts, and various amateur radio zones (CQ, ITU). Distinctively, the resource updates automatically every minute, ensuring current propagation intelligence without manual refresh. It also supports specialized views for EME, ionospheric scatter, and aircraft scatter, alongside FM DX and APRS activity. The platform emphasizes the importance of accurate locator information in DX spots to enhance data quality and offers a user manual and FAQ for guidance.

Local amateur radio clubs often serve as vital hubs for hams to connect, share knowledge, and participate in group activities. The Orleans County Amateur Radio Club (OCARC), operating under the callsign WA2DQL, provides a focal point for amateur radio operators in Albion, New York, and the surrounding Orleans County area. These organizations frequently host events, offer technical assistance, and foster camaraderie among members, supporting various aspects of the hobby from contesting to emergency communications. OCARC's activities include discussions on proposed Technician class privileges for **80, 40, and 15 meters**, indicating an interest in regulatory changes affecting entry-level licensees. The club also promotes the use of online tools like _Radio Mobile Online_ for antenna pattern analysis and _VOACAP Online_ for propagation predictions, aiding members in optimizing their station performance. Furthermore, OCARC highlights participation in _Parks On The Air_ (POTA) events, such as the Erie Canal Bicentennial Celebration in 2025, encouraging outdoor operations and public engagement with amateur radio.

_HamDXMap_ provides propagation analysis and operational aids, integrating real-time data with historical logging capabilities. The platform displays Maximum Usable Frequency (MUF) and foF2 response curves, with a horizontal bar indicating live VFO frequency from _Win-Test_ via Gateway software. It supports _VOACAP_ 24-hour propagation predictions for Short Path (SP) and Long Path (LP) tabs, factoring in monthly smoothed sunspot numbers. The minimum bounce altitude for propagation calculations is **50 km**. The tool features a _ClubLog_-sourced DXCC Most Wanted ranking in voice, telegraphy, and digital categories, displayed in callsign pop-ups and DXpedition lists. Users can import contest logs in ADIF format, visualizing QSOs on the map with adjustable line and point parameters. A playback function allows contest replay at speeds from **1x to 100x**. An _IOTA_ (Islands on the Air) layer displays island group definitions and confirmation percentages, indicating RSGB activation evidence requirements. _HamDXMap_ integrates over 1100 online SDR receivers from three networks, updated daily, with access links and a favorites function. It tracks current and future DXpeditions planned over the next 45 days, sourced from _The Daily DX_, _DX 425 News_, _DX World_, _Les Nouvelles DX_, and _NG3K_. Real-time weather information, including temperature, wind, and pressure, is displayed in DXCC country and RX/TX position pop-ups.
