Demonstrates the operational status and reception reports for the SK6RUD/SA6RR QRPP beacons, which transmit on 478.9 kHz, 1995 kHz, 10.131 MHz, and 40.673 MHz. These beacons utilize extremely low power, with the 630-meter beacon operating at approximately 0.1 watt ERP into an L-antenna, showcasing the potential for long-distance contacts under favorable propagation conditions. The site details the specific frequencies and antenna types employed, such as a vertical at 500 kHz and a 1/4 vertical for higher bands. The resource compiles over 10,530 reception reports from amateur radio operators worldwide, logging details such as date, time, band, RST signal report, locator, distance, and receiver setup. Notable long-distance reports include a 500 kHz reception by AA1A-Dave from 5832 km in 2008 and a 10.133 MHz reception by ZL2FT-Jason from 17680 km in 2010, illustrating the global reach of these low-power transmissions. Each log entry provides specific equipment used by the reporting station, including transceivers like the Yaesu FT817, ICOM IC-7300, and various antenna configurations such as coaxial mag loops, inverted Ls, and end-fed wires. The primary objective of the SK6RUD beacons is to challenge conventional notions of power requirements for effective two-way communication, proving that contacts over significant distances are achievable with minimal output. The site also includes a submission form for new reception reports, fostering community engagement and continuous data collection on propagation phenomena across different bands. Operating from Banana Island, Sierra Leone (AF-037), the 9L2019 DXpedition by F6KOP and a ten-operator team used the callsign 9LY1JM from January 9-21, 2019. This detailed report covers the logistical challenges, including securing visas and licenses with local assistance from Mark 9L1YXJ and Gregory of Dalton’s Guest House. The team deployed monoband quarter-wave verticals on the beach and two Beverage on Ground (BOG) antennas for Europe/Asia and the USA, operating four stations simultaneously. Technical hurdles encountered included high tides submerging antennas, requiring repositioning, and persistent QRM between closely spaced stations, mitigated by doubling filters. CW signal irregularities at 30-32 WPM were resolved by PC and WINTEST restarts. A significant FT8 logging bug was identified and corrected with on-site software. Despite these issues, the team logged over 4,000 QSOs in the first 24 hours, averaging 5,000 QSOs daily, with a peak of over 6,000 in one day. Propagation varied, with excellent 160m conditions on January 12 yielding over 750 QSOs, and a later four-hour opening pushing the 160m total past 1,600. High bands were challenging due to low solar activity, but mid-bands provided intense pileups and rapid continent-wide contacts. The DXpedition concluded with nearly 50,000 QSOs, including a successful school QSO with Collège Doisneau de Sarralbe (57), managed by F1ULQ and F6KFT.

Wait to decode callsigns, then call them using UDP protocol. This utility auto respond to wanted call-signs it is a neat alternative for JTAlert. Automatic logging. This service is engineered for high reliability and low latency, ensuring rapid dissemination of DX spots from a global network of interconnected nodes. It features multiple redundant links to prevent data loss and maintain continuous operation, even if individual connections drop. The cluster integrates directly with the Reverse Beacon Network (RBN), allowing users to enable or disable skimmer spots for specific modes like CW, RTTY, FT8, and FT4. It also offers an extensive one-year spot history, significantly longer than most other DX clusters, which typically retain only a month of data. The node supports various lookup commands for callsign information, beam headings, QSL routing, and FCC database lookups, enhancing operational efficiency for DXers and contesters. Additionally, it permits self-spotting, a feature increasingly relevant in modern contests, and provides detailed instructions for connecting popular logging software such as N1MM+, HamRadioDeluxe, MacLoggerDX, LOG4OM2, Logger32, and N3FJP's Amateur Contact Log.

Cloudlog Helper addresses the need for streamlined, automated logging of amateur radio contacts, particularly for operators utilizing digital modes like FT8 or those with limited system resources. This utility syncs real-time rig data and QSO information to various logging platforms, including _Cloudlog_ and Wavelog, supporting mainstream transceivers. It integrates seamlessly with popular digital mode software such as JTDX and WSJT-X, ensuring that contact details are captured and uploaded without manual intervention. Operators can compile the software themselves and configure essential settings, including their Maidenhead locator, Cloudlog server address, API key, and station ID. The application's design prioritizes efficiency and portability, making it a practical solution for hams who prefer automated logging processes. While an unofficial community project, Cloudlog Helper provides a robust framework for automating the often-tedious task of logging, supporting multiple logging services beyond its primary integration. It offers a direct method for hams to maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks with minimal effort, potentially improving their DXCC or other award tracking by ensuring no QSO is missed.

The LY4A DX Reminder application monitors five distinct DX cluster sources—DXScape, DXSummit, DXHeat, PSK Reporter, and Reverse Beacon—to alert amateur radio operators when a specific call sign appears. It supports a wide range of bands from 160 meters to 70 centimeters, including 60m, 6m, 2m, and 70cm, accommodating **CW**, SSB, FT8, FT4, and RTTY modes. The software operates in the background, checking clusters at user-defined intervals of 1, 5, 10, or 30 minutes, and persists across device restarts. Alarm functionality is robust, activating even if the mobile device is silenced, by utilizing the alarm channel and illuminating the locked screen. On desktop platforms, notifications remain active in the system tray. Users can directly manage alarms—stopping, snoozing, or deleting them—from the notification interface, enhancing operational flexibility during DX pursuits. Available in 15 languages, including English, Italian, German, and Spanish, the application is provided free of charge and without advertisements. It offers optional donation support for continued development. Installation instructions are detailed for Android, Windows 10/11 (64-bit), and macOS 12+, addressing common system security prompts for unsigned applications.

Manages log consistency across multiple digital mode applications, specifically addressing the common issue of log divergence between _MSHV_ and _WSJT-X_ for FT8, FT4, and other weak-signal modes. This prevents duplicate contacts and ensures accurate DX tracking when using both programs. The utility computes a deduplicated union of entries from both `_mshvlog.edim` and `_wsjtx.log` files, then updates each log with missing QSOs. It supports a deduplication key based on callsign, date, time (to the minute), band (derived from frequency), and mode. The tool is available as a standalone Windows executable or a Python version requiring Python 3 with _Tkinter_. Users select log folders, close both applications, and initiate the 'Merge' function. The process includes automatic timestamped backups of log files before any modifications, safeguarding QSO data.
