Over 200 Telnet DX cluster entries are meticulously cataloged, each providing the cluster's callsign, IP address or hostname, and the specific port for connection. The resource details the geographic location for each cluster, often including grid square information or city/country, which is crucial for operators seeking regional or local spotting networks. For instance, **AB5K** offers both worldwide and USA/Canada-only spot feeds, while **K2LS** explicitly limits spots to USA/Canada/Caribbean Zones 1-8, excluding chat messages. The compilation serves as a practical reference for amateur radio operators who utilize traditional Telnet clients for real-time DX spotting. It presents a raw, unadorned list, prioritizing direct access information over elaborate interfaces. This format allows for quick integration into logging software or terminal programs that support Telnet connections. Distinctively, the resource focuses exclusively on Telnet access, differentiating it from web-based or aggregated cluster services. The sheer volume of listed clusters, spanning continents from Europe and North America to Asia and Oceania, makes it a robust tool for DXers and contesters aiming to monitor propagation and identify rare DX stations across various bands.

The project details modifications to an ARK-40 QRP CW transceiver kit, specifically replacing its original thumbwheel frequency selectors with a **BASIC STAMP BS-II microcontroller** and an optical shaft encoder. The redesigned control circuitry outputs a BCD code to the ARK-40's synthesizer, enabling more convenient knob-type tuning. This modification significantly alters the user interface, moving from discrete frequency selection to continuous tuning. Operating frequency is presented on an LCD readout, offering two distinct display modes: a "bandspread dial" mode that simulates an analog dial scrolling across the display in 1 kHz increments, and a conventional digital readout with 100 Hz resolution. Pushing the main tuning knob toggles between these modes, providing both rapid band traversal and fine-tuning capabilities. The software for the BASIC Stamp is written in P-Basic, addressing the challenge of accurate analog dial simulation. Physical modifications include fabricating a custom PC Board for the STAMP, mounting it with an L-bracket to the optical encoder, and creating a new front panel. The front-mounted speaker was relocated to accommodate the new tuning knob and display, transforming the **ARK-40 transceiver** into a more user-friendly rig with its built-in CW keyer and 5 watts of power.

SSTV program for the Linux platform with several functions written by ON1MH Johan. QSSTV is a Linux-based program for receiving and transmitting SSTV (Slow Scan Television) and HAMDRM (Digital SSTV) signals, compatible with MMSSTV and EasyPal. Key features include support for narrow band SSTV modes, gallery functionality for viewing received/transmitted images, repeater capabilities for both SSTV and DRM modes, PulseAudio direct interface, and CAT radio control. The software includes waterfall visualization, hybrid mode operation, and template editing features. QSSTV requires Qt5 and several other libraries for compilation, and operates with a three-window interface for receive, transmit, and gallery functions.

The directory lists several files, including `_template1.html` and `_template2.html`, last modified in 2006 and 2004 respectively, indicating a historical web project. Key scripts like `hfcc_cfm.pl` and `index.cgi`, updated in 2011, suggest a **CGI-based application** for searching shortwave broadcast schedules. The presence of `_template1.tpl` and `_template2.tpl`, both modified in 2015, points to a templating system for dynamic content generation. The file `hfcc_create-fill_mys..>` (likely `hfcc_create-fill_mysql.pl`) implies interaction with a database, possibly MySQL, for storing and retrieving **HFCC (High Frequency Co-ordination Conference)** schedule data. The `lang.cgi` script, last updated in 2002, suggests early support for multilingual interfaces or language-specific content delivery. The `q.txt` file, a small 804-byte text file, could be a query log or a simple data file. The overall structure indicates a system designed to process and present shortwave broadcast information, likely by querying a database of scheduled transmissions on various HF frequencies. The file modification dates suggest the project was actively developed and maintained over a period spanning more than a decade, with core components last updated around 2011 and templates in 2015.

It also supports WSJT-style "callsign.txt" files for lookups and adheres to the SO2R protocol for parallel port connections. Designed for Windows 98 and NT, it generally functions on Windows 95, ME, XP, and 2000, requiring a 133 MHz Pentium-class processor.

CwType v2.35 provides a dedicated terminal interface for **CW operators**, facilitating Morse code transmission from a Windows PC. Users can input characters via the keyboard or a connected paddle, supporting iambic keying. The software manages transceiver control, including PTT and CW keying, through COM or LPT ports. It offers adjustable speed, dash/dot ratio, and inter-letter spacing, with real-time speed display in LPM and WPM calculated by the "PARIS" method. The program includes features like MOX mode for automatic TX on/off, configurable weighting to compensate for transceiver element clipping, and programmable F-key macros for sending predefined text or special sequences. CwType can integrate with logging software such as AALog (V1.0.3 and later) for data transfer, and supports various character sets including English, Russian, and Swedish. A beacon mode is also available, executing the Alt-F12 macro periodically at a user-defined interval. Audio output for monitoring can be routed through the internal PC speaker or a sound card, with options for sine waveform and smooth envelope generation for SSB transmitters. The software is compatible with **Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10** and is distributed as freeware.

LogDDM, a freeware logging application, supports the tracking of over **100** different awards, including _DXCC_, WAZ, and WAS, directly within its interface. This software facilitates comprehensive log management for amateur radio operators, integrating functionalities such as a built-in callbook lookup, real-time packet cluster access, and direct rig control for various transceivers. It also offers robust import and export capabilities, primarily utilizing the ADIF format, which is essential for submitting logs to award sponsors or transferring data between different logging platforms. Developed by Giorgio, IV3DDM, the program is designed to streamline the logging process, allowing hams to efficiently record contacts and manage their QSL information. It provides a centralized hub for operational data, from initial QSO entry to final award application. Key features include detailed QSL management, support for multiple operating modes, and a user-friendly interface, making it a practical tool for daily operating and contest logging.
